Is Membership in the Green Valley Recreation optional?
Membership is outlined by the deed and deed restrictions. Homes in the Green Valley Recreation are either required or optional, and can vary by subdivision, or in rare cases, even by home.
How do I find out if an individual listing is Green Valley Recreational required or optional (or not at all)?
Due to the specifics of GVR, it is not typically included on websites that embed MLS information. Have your Real Estate Estate Agent (or reach out to Robert) for the specifics. Not all listing agents are as thorough as Robert to make sure the details are uploaded, so sometimes patience is required. In rare cases, homes are offered on without knowing the specifics of the GVR.
How do I know for sure that the property is/isn't in GVR?
It wouldn't be the first time an agent or seller was wrong about the specifics of a home. GVR is outlined as a deed restriction, and the details of a deed are best left to the Title/Escrow who do the deed research and settlement of closing costs. Contact them to confirm the home's deed is the way you thought it was when offering, preferably after the offer is accepted, but prior to the end of the inspection/BINSR period. (See disclaimers.)
I am in Green Valley and looking towards the East. What am I seeing?
iYou're looking towards the Santa Rita Mountains. Depending where you are, the directions might be different, but looking directly South and then turning East is the Fred Lawrence Whipple Observatory just East of Amado, AZ. Left of that, more East or Southeast, the large pyramid-like mountain is Mt Wrightson. Directly East and Northeast is the Santa Rita Foothills, which is South of I-10, between the highway and Sonoita/Elgin (where you can see them when visiting Wine Country).
